Full Transcript

For Project 1 we will assess the ability of the van der Waals, SRK, and Peng-Robinson equations of state to predict vapor-liquid equilibrium. We will compare our predictions to NIST reference data. I will provide you with reference M-files to make the predictions. In Part 1 and 2, and I will demonstrate how to download data from NIST, make predictions using the provided MATLAB code, and also how to copy and paste the data into a Google Sheet. The necessary MATLAB files are provided below, which should also work with GNU Octave (although I have not tested it). https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GJgIFoAoVDTqn6jPbCnjizZ8CiTckZwq/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MPnPZS2vHpj-7b2qsndYoJb1B-asUrPP/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1T3JIKF9cv_pa6GiW7tJ0qB0pwQaE0L8b/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mobSFRUQXR-qlC7TKNJ3gc6WVoA4Kvf0/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qhv-pe44wfLpxTTBmtTMNE6xfA29r5rC/view?usp=sharing
