In this screencast I work through an example problem to determine expressions for the partial molar enthalpy of components 1 and 2 in a binary mixture from an expression for the molar enthalpy of the mixture as a function of mole fraction composition. In the first half of the video I discuss how to solve by hand. In the second half, I move over to MATLAB and solve symbolically. Know that the challenge is not performing the calculation by hand, but rather the expressions can get rather long and cumbersome.
