Summary

Full Transcript

Having introduced the concept of activity coefficient, here we present the "gamma-phi" method of modeling vapor/liquid equilibrium. Namely, starting with our isofugacity expression, we expand the liquid phase fugacity with respect to an ideal solution and the vapor phase with respect to an ideal gas.
