In this screen cast I will work out "simplified" expressions to compute partial molar properties for binary mixtures. Typically, we measure molar quantities as a function of composition, and fit analytic expressions that are a function of composition. For a binary system we can work out "simplified" expressions that allow us to compute partial molar quantities using derivatives with respect to composition.
