In this screencast I attempt to discuss and emphasize the common origin of the main fugacity expressions (or "expansions") used in class. Namely we look at fugacity with respect to an ideal gas, an ideal solution (Raoult's law and Henry's law basis), and discuss the Poynting correction. With this basis you should be able to see the connection to other reference states commonly used, such as in the modelling of electrolyte solutions.
