In this example we are asked to estimate the Cp of liquid hexane at 20 oC and 1 bar. Key is to write Cp as the sum of an ideal gas and residual contribution. The ideal gas term is readily determined from the polynomial provided in the back of the text. The residual term is approximated by finite difference with the SRK EoS used to compute the residual enthalpy at two temperatures. This is just an approximation.
