In this lesson Chad provides a lesson on the Doppler Effect, specifically as it applies to sound, but more generally alludes to how it applies to light as well. He begins with a qualitative description of the Doppler Effect before introducing the Doppler Effect equation, explaining how to use it depending upon whether the source and/or observer are moving either toward or away from the other. He solves a Doppler Effect example involving a stationary ambulance where the observer is moving toward the ambulance and then another Doppler Effect example where the ambulance is moving toward the observer. 00:00 Lesson Introduction 00:54 Introduction to the Doppler Effect 04:19 Doppler Effect Equation 08:31 Doppler Effect Example with Moving Observer 12:52 Doppler Effect Example with Moving Source Check out Chad's General Physics Master Course: https://www.chadsprep.com/physics-youtube #generalphysics #physicstutorial
