Presenter: Jeremy Beal Online video content is an incredibly rich source of material for English listening lessons. Free online videos address range of topics, reflect a variety of English accents, and illustrate authentic use of vocabulary and idioms, making them an invaluable source of language input for English learners. So how can English teachers use these videos to help develop students’ listening skills? In this webinar, we’ll look at a process for creating high-quality listening lessons using online videos. We’ll discuss how to find appropriate videos, how to incorporate them into effective lesson plans, and how to teach those lessons in different types of classrooms. Along the way, teachers will have opportunities to contribute their ideas during a demonstration of the lesson planning process.
