AE Live! Teacher Professional Development Events - AE Live 14.5 - Mastering the Multilevel Classroom

One of the biggest challenges that teachers across the globe face is how to effectively teach multilevel classes. Planning lessons in such contexts can be even more daunting when dealing with large class sizes. This dynamic and engaging session seeks to turn the tide on these challenges by exploring innovative strategies that engage students and inspire them to learn and improve their language skills, regardless of class size or level. By creating different versions of handouts that present the content at different levels, by utilizing higher-level students as assistant teachers, by setting up stations that meet the needs of different groups, and by pairing students in ways that allow them to maximize their opportunities to use the language, teachers can transform their classrooms into interactive learning environments that allow students at all levels to make the most of their class time and optimize their learning.
