In this tutorial, we are going to see how this automatic selection tool compares with the unbeatable Pen Tool. With the help of three simple compositing examples, we will first compare the "Select Subject" with the previous versions of Photoshop. Then, we will compare it with the Pen Tool, amongst other alternatives. In these examples, we will also learn masking techniques for better quality edges.
