In this video, we'll learn how to replace skies by utilizing channels for mask information and select detailed objects like grass and trees or even hair very simply. This method of making selections is like the last resort. When nothing works, be it "Select and Mask" or "Select Color Range", channels are powerful sources of creating masks to make that selection. This can be done by creating an alpha channel which is additional channel besides RGB or CMYK to hold complex masking information.
