「Learn Japanese」 NOUN + 向け as “intended for NOUN” The word 向け (むけ), which can be translated to “for, intended for, made for, aimed at, for the use of, oriented towards, etc.,” is attached to a preceding noun word in order to express that something is made for said noun. In its grammatical usage, this pattern can be used to end a statement (i.e. being simply followed by the respective conjugation of です), describe a verb action (i.e. being followed by the particle に and then the verb action), or modifying another certain noun (i.e. being followed by the particle の and then the other noun). Example(s): このアニメは子供向けですが、大人が見ても面白いものがあります。 Kono anime wa kodomo muke desuga, otona ga mitemo omoshiroi mono ga arimasu.
