On this episode of Back to Set, we're filming a scene that involves a green screen. We're going through the process of lighting the green screen, live keying it, and making lighting decisions based off of the plate. It's a great way to turn any location that you have into anything that fits in your story, and hopefully it will help you out in any project in the future. Why are we doing this in the first place? A lot of times, you will have to reshoot scenes in your film because of creative or logistical reasons or you may be limited by the budget. Whatever the case may be, you can rest assured knowing that the techniques that we present in this video will work for the budget-friendly filmmaker since all that is needed are a camera, green screen backdrop setup, a couple of lights, and a vision for the lighting.
