Mohit, a college student, finds a collection of mechanical and electrical engineering books and randomly selects three. The task is to calculate the probability of choosing one mechanical and two electrical engineering books from the available set. The lecture explains how to determine the sample space, use combinations to represent selections, and compute the final probability step by step. This session highlights the practical use of combinatorics in solving real world probability problems.
