Building upon the concept of covariance, you’ll learn how correlation standardizes the relationship by removing units, resulting in a coefficient that ranges between -1 and +1. The lecture covers how to calculate and interpret the correlation coefficient using both formulas and Google Sheets. Through real-world examples such as house size vs. price and car age vs. value, you’ll gain an intuitive understanding of how correlation helps assess and interpret linear associations in data.
