The lecture walks through a detailed example, showing how to read and interpret the plot, identify the number of students present each day, and compute the total attendance. We then divide by the total number of days to find the average daily attendance. Through this exercise, learners will gain a practical understanding of how stem-and-leaf plots can summarize and visualize data while supporting key calculations like the mean.
