Chad introduces light revealing the wave-particle duality which indicates that light has both wave-like and particle-like properties. In being wave-like it has a wavelength and frequency associated with it and as a particle we refer to as a photon it has a characteristic energy as well. Chad explains how the wavelength, frequency, and energy are all mathematically dependent upon each other and how if one is known the other two can be calculated. Finally, Chad shows how light is just a small portion of the larger electromagnetic spectrum and shows its relation to the other regions of the spectrum.
