Chad provides a comprehensive lesson on how to balance oxidation-reduction reactions (redox reactions). The half-reaction method is presented using a simpler example. A second, more challenging example is then worked out which involves the balancing of oxygen atoms with H2O and hydrogen atoms with H+. It is also shown how to balance this reaction in both acid and base.
