Saying thank you tells the hiring manager you have good manners, and saying that you are excited means you want to do great things in your work. Number two, in your job interview, instead of saying I am a good team worker, say this instead. I am a supportive collaborator. Saying that you are a supportive collaborator tells the hiring manager you understand the importance of working closely with others to achieve the company's goals. Number three, instead of saying I will do a great job for you, say this instead. I will work hard to add value in the role. Saying the words add value in your job interview tells the hiring manager you understand that you have a duty to give them a great return on your salary. Number four, make sure you say this when answering the question, why do you want to work for us? I have researched your company, and I am attracted to your values and positive workplace culture. Saying you have researched the company informs the hiring manager you are serious about working there long-term. Number five, instead of saying I don't have much experience, say this instead. Although I am new to the workplace, I do learn quickly and respond well to feedback. Saying that you respond well to feedback will impress the hiring manager because they want to hire someone willing to grow, improve and develop in the role. Number six, instead of saying I am a hard worker, say this instead. I am accountable and consistently deliver results. Using the word accountable will impress the hiring manager. It means you take responsibility for your duties. Saying you will deliver results is also a great thing to say in your interview because results are what make a company successful. Number seven, instead of saying I don't have any weaknesses, say this instead. My biggest weakness is that I struggle to say no to people, which means I sometimes overcommit. That is a great weakness to give in a job interview because it tells the hiring manager you are the type of person who will take on lots of work.
