For more debating exercises get my 101 Team Building Exercises Book 📖 on Amazon: https://geni.us/teamexercises Debating exercises are great to practice public speaking. In this exercise, the participants learn that they don’t have to enter into a discussion with every questioner. They experience that they also can respond with a few sentences and then continue with what they want to say. Try it! 💬 #CommunicationSkills #SelfEvaluation #Improve #DebatingExercises Do you like this exercise? Let’s give these variations a try: 1. You can tell the group that at the end of the exercise, you will choose someone who will give the same presentation as one of the other participants. He must be as precise as possible. This will make the participants pay close attention to each presentation, because they might have to copy the presentation. At the end, you will point to someone and tell him which presentation he will copy and present to the audience. 2. You can make cards ahead of time in case there are people who can’t think of topics themselves. These topics can be concerning moral issues, for example, meat eating. If a participant draws this card, he will then give a spontaneous presentation on why he is for or against eating meat. The rest of the exercise remains the same. Can’t get enough of this exercise? In my new book you will find more variations.
