There’s Arthur Greer; a violent man with sexual abuse convictions who spent 25 years in prison for murdering a 14-year-old school girl. But Greer says he didn’t do it and there is powerful evidence to suggest that he may have been telling the truth. Also, the abduction and murder of three-year-old Cheryl Grimmer from a crowded beach over 50 years ago. Astoundingly a man claiming to be the killer provided police with a detailed confession, but he’s never been prosecuted due to an extraordinary legal technicality.
