Todd Kohlhepp was a troubled child, at 14 he kidnaps and rapes a young girl. He is sent to jail for 15 years. During that time, Kohlhepp grows up, he gets smarter, he goes to college, and is reformed. He is released and moves to Spartenberg. Two years later something bad happens nearby, 4 people were gunned down, but detectives did not find the culprit. Nine years passed, and Todd was a successful real estate agent.
