Coronavirus is in full swing, and the officers of Customs and Border protection face new challenges. Thousands of travellers pass through the bridge on a daily basis, and any of them could be infected with the virus. Today officers deal with two cases. Show: BorderForce USA | S3E01 Meanwhile their main job of tackling the activities of the Mexican cartels continues. At Hidalgo Bridge, a large arsenal of weapons is uncovered while being smuggled into Mexico in the back of a car - Officers suspect they were bound for a drug lord. And at the World Trade Bridge a suspicious ice-cream freezer is found to be loaded with Fentanyl – a deadly opioid 50 times stronger than heroin. At the Gateway to the Americas bridge a group of Guatemalan immigrants have been refused entry into Mexico. After it becomes clear they have also been in America illegally, officers must work out what to do with them. In McAllen a man crossing with several puppies comes under scrutiny. He claims they are family pets – but with puppy mills rife in Mexico officers suspect it is a commercial enterprise.
