The Case of Gladys Godfrey - A Landmark Case in Using Familial DNA evidence to Prove Murder | TCC The 2002 murder of 87-year-old pensioner Gladys Godfrey in Mansfield was something that horrified investigators. The killer gained entry to her bungalow in the middle of the night and assaulted her, before murdering her.
