Welcome to Lecture 12 of the course "Programming in Python" by Prof. Sudarshan Iyengar. Full Course: https://study.iitm.ac.in/ds/course_pages/BSCS1002.html Video Overview In this lecture we focus on two essential programming tips that will help you write cleaner and more understandable code. Using a simple story of two brothers and their finances we demonstrate the importance of using self explanatory variable names such as ram_bank_balance instead of A to avoid confusion. We also highlight the value of adding comments using the hash symbol to explain the purpose of variables and sections of your code making it easier to understand later or for others who may read it. These practices will greatly improve your coding skills and help you write code that is easier to maintain.
