In this lecture, equivalent electrical circuit of a real transformer is discussed.
A real transformer has eddy current losses, hysteresis losses (called core losses together) and copper losses. In addition to that, the reluctance of a real transformer is not exactly zero, which results into leakage flux and magnetization current. This lecture demonstrates how to incorporate these effects into the electrical model of a transformer.
