Pick up your "Dry Thyme Is A Scam" merch at the shop: https://feedandteach.myspreadshop.com/ Pepperpot soup has a long, rich history in Jamaica, rooted in Indigenous traditions and shaped by African influence. In this video, I’m making a version closer to how my granny cooked it: slow, layered, and built on real ingredients like dasheen, callaloo, and bird pepper. I take a slightly different approach with a deeper bone broth, then bring it back to tradition with old-school techniques and flavors. This one is all about balance, its fresh, earthy, and deeply savory without being heavy.
