Such problems can generally be solved by iteration, but this needs to identify and index the smaller instances at programming time. Recursion is a widely used phenomenon in computer science used to solve complex problems by breaking them down into simpler ones. Recursion is a process by which a function calls itself directly or indirectly. The corresponding function is called as recursive function. ---------------------------------------- About Scaler -------------------------------------------------- We are a tech-focused upskilling and reskilling platform catering to tech enthusiasts in universities and working professionals.
