In computer science, a tree is a widely used abstract data type that simulates a hierarchical tree structure, with a root value and subtrees of children with a parent node, represented as a set of linked nodes. A tree data structure can be defined recursively as a collection of nodes, where each node is a data structure consisting of a value and a list of references to nodes. The start of the tree is the "root node" and the reference nodes are the "children". No reference is duplicated and none points to the root. What is Data Structure and Algorithm? Data Structure can be referred to as a collection of data objects that allows storing, organizing, and retrieving data on systems. An algorithm refers to a set of steps used in completing a certain task or to get the desired output.
