►Take my 7-DAY MARTIAL ARTS CHALLENGE! http://www.senseiando.com/updates/ What is dirty fighting anyway? Actually, there's no such thing as dirty fighting! There’s just fighting. When it comes to self-defense and you’re protecting your life or the life of someone you love, there are no rules. You do whatever it takes to keep the good guy alive. Some people think kicking in the groin or pulling the hair is fighting dirty. It’s fighting like a girl. I disagree! Why? Because if you take out dirty fighting moves from a real fight, you know what you get? Sports. MMA, Boxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling-- they all have rules. They also all have weight classes! That's because without dirty fighting moves, the bigger, stronger guy will almost always have an advantage over the smaller, weaker guy. If the smaller, weaker guy doesn’t fight dirty, there won't be much of a fight at all! Self-defense is not a sport. It’s a war. A war between the good guys and the bad guys. And all is fair in love and war. Especially war. So, how do you make “dirty fighting” work in a real-life self-defense situation? Keep fighting! Some people think if they fight dirty, then self-defense is easy. WRONG! Think about a fight like being locked in a closet. To get out, first you have to find a key to open the lock. Then you have to open the door. Then you have to move through the door. Same idea if you get caught in a choke. If you bite his arm, he's not just going to run away. You're still going to get choked! Maybe you opened the lock, but you didn’t open the door. Dirty fighting should be the beginning of your fight, not the end. If you bite his arm, then you need to control his arm... then change your position… then attack another vulnerable target... then escape. When it comes to dirty fighting, always train thinking, AND THEN. I bite and then I do this. I gouge the eye AND THEN I do that. Same idea applies with gouging the eye. If you reach out to hit a jab a bad guy in the eye, he may not care! He may be drunk or crazy. That's why you have to train yourself to keep fighting until you're safe. Don't be a "one hit wonder". Open the lock, open the door, and get through the door. Remember— if you're a good guy fighting to protect your life, don't think about fighting clean or fighting dirty… just fight. And keep fighting until you’re safe. THANKS FOR WATCHING!
