Here is the approach I took with a dog who has a known history of biting the balls (he plays soccer and uses primarily his paws and teeth to manipulate the ball). It helps him to learn to use his nose, rather than his teeth or paws. I have no doubt that he would pop a yoga ball the first time he sees one.
