This physics video tutorial provides a basic introduction into DC circuits. It explains how to calculate the current flowing in a circuit with two resistors in series using ohm's law. It also explains how to determine the voltage across each resistor as well as the power consumed by each resistance. Based on the law of conservation of energy, the power delivered by the battery must be equal to the total power absorbed by all of the resistors. According to kirchoff's voltage law, the voltage drops of all resistors must add to the voltage of the battery. This video also explains how to solve a DC circuit with 3 resistors in series.
