In this video, I cover the basics of Moving Averages in Time Series Forecasting. We discuss the Naive Method, Simple Moving Average, and Weighted Moving Averages. In this example, we will be using college enrollment data to test different methods and then predict Fall 2012 enrollment. Also, using the stock chart for Apple (AAPL), we also show how moving averages are used in basic investing.
