GCSE Music Theory Videos - Learn All Natural Note Barre Chords with ONE SONG

Sitting on the Dock of the Bay is a classic song, and it’s quite unusual in that it contains all seven natural major chords, A, B, C, D, E, F and G. It goes against the grain of most music theory concepts, but yet works impeccably. In this video, I show the seven chords as both E and A shape barre chords. If this song is learned and indeed the chords are shouted out while they’re played, it’s a great way of memorizing the positions of the chords on the guitar fretboard.
