Here is a video about minor keys and the chords contained within it. As there are a few minor scales, the number of chords that can be used is quite considerable:
i, ii dim, bIII, IV, iv, V, v, bVI, vi dim and VII.
In C minor, this would be Cm, D dim, Eb, F, Fm, G, Gm, Ab, Adim and Bb.
Ten chords.... and that’s before any modulations (changes of key).
In this video, I look at the tune Hotel California, with its many possibilities. Seven of the ten chords listed here are used.
