The Instrument Index is an overall list by Inst. tag-number of all instruments or control system components used in process facility / or plant with the relevant drawing numbers, materials, specification sheet, and other appropriate information for each component. For this one must have Input Documents from other discipline are as follows: 1. Piping & Instrument Diagram (P&IDs) from Process Discipline, 2. Piping Material Specification (PMS - Piping Class information in details including Flange size, type, rating, material, connection etc), 3. Interface Signal Details from Electrical & Mechanical Disciplines to cover Motor, Pump interface signal and Mechanical Package Vendor data etc., 4.
