In this video, I’m walking you through how to create a flipbook-style logo reveal inside Adobe After Effects. We’re starting completely from scratch — from placing the logo, drawing rough pencil-like strokes, adding texture, and then turning everything into a page-flipping animation that feels handmade and organic. I’ll show you how I trace the logo using simple shape layers, how I use taper and trim paths to get that natural pencil stroke movement, and how effects like Turbulent Displace and Roughen Edges help the lines look more realistic. After that, we’ll bring in a textured background and animate the logo using a soft mask reveal. Once the base animation is ready, we’ll move on to building the actual flipbook effect. This includes using CC Page Turn, freezing frames, stacking multiple “pages,” and adjusting the keyframes so the flip feels smooth and natural. By the end, you’ll have a full flipbook logo reveal that opens page by page and finally lands on your finished logo. If you’re learning motion graphics or just want a unique logo reveal for your projects, this one is fun to follow along with — and you can tweak every part to match your own style.
