Today we check out a very cool minor 9th arpeggio! This one contains the root (R), minor third (b3), perfect fifth (5), minor seventh (b7) and major ninth (9). The ninth provides a very specific color and I use it frequently for chords and arpeggios. It is considered a bit dissonant (not as much as the minor second interval) and I really love the slight tension it provides when I use it as a top note in major or minor voicings.
