In this one minute guitar lesson we look at the A harmonic minor scale - just one scale position to show you the concept of this interesting sound. We raise the 7th scale degree of the natural minor or aeolian scale, so G becomes G# in our case. You will be able to accent this note to really bring out the sound of harmonic minor - and you will be able to easily switch between natural and harmonic minor by knowing this.
