C++ Compilers align member variables to powers of 2, in order to make it easier to access fields. That said, this can cause waste depending on the order in which you list your member variables in classes. As a general guideline, you can list the larger member variables first, and then the smaller variables after to prevent internal fragmentation. ►YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/MikeShah ►Please like and subscribe to help the channel!
