Circular saws have several adjustable features, from replacing blades, to swapping out oil. This short video from The Honest Carpenter will show you 7 of the most important adjustments you can make to circular saws! Always remember to UPLUG YOUR CIRCULAR SAW or remove the battery before making adjustments to it! Brush Replacement is one of the most overlooked maintenance/repairs you can make on your circular saw. Be sure to check those brushes for their length. Also, be sure your circular saw sole plate is in the proper 90° alignment when the gauge is set to zero. Nothing will mess up your cuts faster than a misaligned circular saw! And, not every circular saw takes oil. Sidewinders and hypoid saws usually don't need oil, because they have fully sealed bearings. But many worm drive circular saws do require an oil bath for their gear box, so be sure to check! Thanks for watching! The Honest Carpenter
