Full Transcript

Aggregates are often the most neglected and loosly handled construction material in any site. But they are equally important from quality aspect and if not properly handled, they give very misleading results in strength and durability. First, the aggregates should always be kept on a level surface that is free from dust, water, clay or any other undesirable materials. The coarse and fine aggregates should always be stored separately. Also, for different sizes, separation should be created to avoid their mixing Also, Pyramidal shape of stacks should be avoided to optimise taking them out during work And most importantly, fine aggregates should be kept as far as as protected from wind as possible. We already live in a very polluted country. This small effort will prevent dust pollution watch this video to understand the features #construction #heavycivil #civilengineering #basiccivilengineering #aggregates #siteengineering
