In Day 23 of the Flight Booking Engine series, we take Terraform to the next level with remote state management. 🛠️ Local .tfstate files are fragile — they get lost, overwritten, or out of sync. Today, we’ll move state to AWS S3 with DynamoDB locking for reliability, collaboration, and CI/CD with GitHub Actions. We’ll cover: • Setting up a remote S3 backend for Terraform state • Enabling state locking with DynamoDB • Versioning the bucket for rollback safety • Writing a script to auto-create the S3 bucket + policies • Ensuring GitHub Actions workflows always use remote state By the end of this livestream, you’ll know how to: ✅ Prevent lost state files in Terraform ✅ Secure state with S3, versioning, and locking ✅ Automate backend setup with scripts ✅ Scale Terraform safely in CI/CD pipelines ⸻ We’re building this app end-to-end: ✅ FastAPI backend 🌐 Next.js frontend 🧪 DevOps & Terraform CI/CD 🤖 AI integrations coming soon 📌 Full playlist: 👉 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdtwawCR2QjmdfhM-7SzDOVGop373bbgW 📂 GitHub Repo (Public Mirror): 👉 https://github.com/KNehe/aero_bound_ventures-public.git 🔥 Subscribe to master FastAPI, Terraform & DevOps workflows live.
