In Day 56 of the Flight Booking Engine, we move beyond just streaming events and focus on making notifications reliable. Server-Sent Events alone are not enough. In a real booking system, notifications must be stored, queried, and managed so users don’t lose updates when they refresh or reconnect. In this live stream, we build the backend foundation for in-app notifications in the Flight Booking Engine: • Persist booking and ticket notifications in the database • Fetch notifications for customers and admins • Mark notifications as read and unread • Delete notifications safely • Connect stored notifications with the SSE stream This is a production-grade step toward handling booking confirmations, payment updates, and ticket uploads correctly. 📂 GitHub Repo: 👉 https://github.com/KNehe/aero_bound_ventures-public.git 📘 Full Playlist: 👉 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdtwawCR2QjmdfhM-7SzDOVGop373bbgW 🔥 Subscribe for real FastAPI + Next.js systems — built live, explained clearly, production-focused. #FastAPI #ServerSentEvents #FlightBookingEngine #Backend #FullStack
