The backend is ready—now let's visualize the data. 👁️ In Day 73, we take the raw JSON response from our FastAPI SeatMap endpoint and turn it into a fully interactive UI in Next.js. We aren't just displaying a list; we are building a dynamic Cabin Grid. We need to parse X/Y coordinates to render the plane layout correctly, handle "Selected" states, and update the total price in real-time when a user picks a premium seat. 💡 In this live build: Data Fetching: Consuming our existing FastAPI SeatMap endpoint from the frontend. The Cabin Grid: Using CSS Grid to map the (x,y) coordinates into a visual airplane layout. State Management: Handling AVAILABLE, OCCUPIED, and SELECTED states in React. Smart Tooltips: Showing amenities (Legroom, Power, Wi-Fi) on hover. Price Updates: Adding the cost of "Chargeable Seats" to the booking summary instantly. By the end, your users will be able to click, view, and select their perfect seat. 💬 Join the Community: 👉 https://discord.gg/bqUFaDaj 📘 Watch the full playlist: 👉 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdtwawCR2QjmdfhM-7SzDOVGop373bbgW 📂 GitHub Repo (Public Mirror): 👉 https://github.com/KNehe/aero_bound_ventures-public.git 🔥 🔥 Subscribe to master High-Performance Backend Engineering. #FastAPI #NextJS #SeatMap #CSSGrid #FrontendDevelopment #AmadeusAPI #ReactHooks
