The Primary Loop consist of constant speed primary chilled Water Pumps while the Secondary Loop consists of variable speed secondary chilled water pumps. Primary and Secondary loops in a primary-secondary chilled water system are separated by a decoupler or bypass line. A differential pressure transmitter is used to control the speed of the secondary chilled water system.
