BMS Architecture is different for each manufacture. There are different layer in BMS architecture: First level is field level which consist of input and output devices which are installed on HVAC equipment like AHU, FCU, VAV, Chillers, Boilers and Exhaust Fans. The above level is automation level which consist of DDC equipment consisting of Field DDC Controllers and expansion IO modules. These controllers are networked together over BACnet MSTP network. Supervision /integration level consists of supervisory controller which converts BACnet MSTP to IP protocol for connection to the PC workstation at Management level.
