MIT App Inventor Hackathon 2020 - Registration Confirmation Dear MIT App Inventor Hackathon 2020 applicant, We are happy to confirm that you have successfully registered for the Hackathon 2020. We will use this email address we have for you to send you important event information in the days to come and, on July 12 00:00 GMT, when the Hackathon starts, we will send you specific Hackathon theme(s) and all the information you will need to submit your video and app. Please include us in your address book and make sure that our emails do not accidentally go to your Junk mail folder. To be clear, the specific theme(s) of the Hackathon will be announced on July 12 00:00 GMT and all app building will happen during the July 12-18 time period. There is no advanced preparation that is needed but if you aren’t that familiar with App Inventor, you can use the time between now and July 12 to hone your skills by following some of our tutorials. We’ve also set up a Slack workspace for Hackathon organizers and participants to communicate, share ideas, ask questions, and help each other out. We’ve set up several channels for interacting with each other. We think it’s a great way for those of you registered as an individual participant to meet others and possibly connect and work together on a team.
