In this video Lecture, I have covered the conversion of Decimal Fractions into Binary, Octal, and Hexadecimal Number Systems easily. Learn how to easily convert decimal fractions into binary, octal, and hex numbers with this informative lecture! Our conversion calculator will make it even simpler for you to master these number systems. Perfect for students and professionals alike! Thanks for Watching Important Note: For conversion of the Fractional Part into Binary, we have a special case: How can we know about Special Case: Just multiply the fractional part with 2^(digits in the fractional part) and you don't get an Integer then you know that this is a special case of Conversion. For many fractions like 0.35 or 0.513 or 0.16 etc. where once you start multiplying fractional parts with the base 2 raised to the power of the number of digits on the Calculator, OR on paper by manually doing successive multiplication by the base 2, you will feel that fractional part is never approaching to zero so what do you do then: On Paper, just do the steps up to at 5 decimal places at max that would be enough to give you full marks. (4 places are also more than enough as well) On Calculator: We have a good Trick: Take a fractional part like 0.35, and multiply it with 2^8 because we want 8 places in the fractional part of our answer that is 0.35*256 = 90 approx. Now convert this number into binary using a calculator- And you are done! BINGO Take only 8 digits from the Right side and in this case: get (0.01011001)_2 I'll make a short video on that soon- Feel Free to ask any questions in the comment section.
