We’ll start by creating a sales order (SO) in one legal entity. This SO will automatically trigger a purchase order (PO), which is an intercompany PO. That PO will then generate a corresponding sales order in another legal entity — in this case, a US-based company. Since the customer is located closer to the US-based entity, we will demonstrate how to use direct delivery in combination with intercompany processing. In this setup, the intercompany sales order in the US company will deliver the product directly to the end customer, bypassing intermediate inventory handling. a.
